OceanPractices is a central programme of the OBPS, linking the operations of the OBPS with the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development and Sustainable Development Goals. Read more about Ocean Practices here. Over the years, the OBPS has benefitted from sponsorship through government funded research grants and projects (see Supporters for the full list). One of our current projects is using a case study in the Caribbean to develop capacity in ocean observation and best practice development. Read more about the ADAPT project here. The OBPS also facilitates discrete projects to address topical issues within the ocean practices community. These are undertaken through task teams.
